LASU Indigeneship Verification 2026/2027 Form is out – Below is how to apply for Lagos State University (LASU) Indigene Verification for 2026/2027 admission screening exercise.

LASU indigeneship verification exercise does not guarantee admission into the university.

It only qualifies you to participate in LASU 2026/2027 admission screening exercise.

LASU Indigeneship Verification 2026/2027 Form

The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of indigeneship verification exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This verification is strictly for candidates who:

1. Are of Lagos State origin
2. Chose LASU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME
3. Scored a minimum of 195 in JAMB

If you meet these requirements, then you are eligible to apply.

LASU Indigeneship Verification Date 2026

The verification exercise will begin on Monday, 27th April 2026 and will run until Friday, 22nd May 2026.

Interviews will take place daily between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Verification Schedule Dates

1. Phase 1: Monday, 27th April 2026 – Thursday, 30th April 2026
2. Phase 2: Monday, 4th May 2026 – Thursday, 7th May 2026
3. Phase 3: Monday, 11th May 2026 – Thursday, 14th May 2026
4. Phase 4: Monday, 18th May 2026 – Friday, 22nd May 2026

The interview will be conducted across different divisions in Lagos State.

Make sure you attend the venue assigned to your division.

1. Ikeja Division: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Arts
2. Badagry Division: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Arts
3. Ikorodu Division: Law Clinic, Faculty of Law
4. Lagos Division: International Business Class, MBA Building
5. Epe Division: School of Transport and Logistics

Requirements for LASU Indigeneship Verification 2026/2027

1. Birth certificate
2. Certificate of Origin
3. Original Jamb result
4. Olevel Result
5. Passport photograph

How to Apply for LASU Indigene Verification 2026/2027

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Go to LASU verification exercise portal at www.lasu.edu.ng to obtain the verification form.
2. Click on LASU 2026 verification form publication therein.
3. Follow the instructions provided on the portal to register for the verification exercise.
4. Print out your registration slip
5. Finally, wait for the 2026/2027 LASU screening form and LASU admission list.

Additional Information

1. ONLY candidates of Lagos State Origin are eligible for screening.
2. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) BEFORE being considered for admission.
3. Old applicants for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions who have not been offered admission will revalidate their indigenship Clearance Certificates only online at www.lasu.edu.ng.
