The Federal University of Environment and Technology Ogoni (FUET) is a Federal higher institution located in Ogoni town, Tai, Rivers State, Nigeria.

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, 13th February 2025, in Abuja, signed into law a bill establishing the Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET) in Rivers State and pledged more support for the Ogoni community.

During the signing ceremony at the State House, President Tinubu said the establishment of the University will further empower Ogoni citizens and provide more opportunities for participation and development.

In July 2025, President Tinubu approved the appointment of the Governing Council and principal officers for the University.

FUET Admission Requirements

1. FUET must be your first choice of institution on the JAMB CAPS portal.
2. You must have scored a minimum of 150 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
3. You must have at least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
4. Your O’Level results must not be more than two sittings.
5. You must be at least 16 years old to be considered for FUET 2025 admission.
