1. NDU has started uploading names of qualified candidates to the 2026/2027 Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Types of Niger Delta University Admission List

NDU usually release five (5) admission lists, namely:

1. Merit Admission List
2. Second batch admission list
3. Third batch admission list

1. NDU First Batch Admission List

NDU Merit admission list, also known as NDU First Batch Admission list contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.

2. NDU Second Batch Admission List

NDU second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:

• Did not upload their O’Level results early
• Did not meet NDU merit cut-off mark
• Narrowly omitted during the first batch of admission
• Have been offered admission through VC list

3. NDU VC admission list

During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that NDU VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.
