OOU admission list 2026/2027 PDF is officially out – Olabisi Onabanjo University has released the full list of admitted UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates, along with guidelines on how to check first, second, and third batch admission list using OOU Admission checker portal.

1. OOU has started uploading names of qualified candidates to the 2026/2027 Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
2. The uploading of OOU admission list is done in batches. So far, admission list for Law, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Accounting have been uploaded, and the process is still ongoing.
3. JAMB will offer you admission only after OOU has recommended your name on JAMB CAPS Portal.

OOU usually release five (5) admission lists, namely:

1. OOU First Batch Admission List

OOU Merit admission list, also known as OOU First Batch Admission list contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.

2. OOU Second Batch Admission List

OOU second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:

• Did not upload their O’Level results early
• Did not meet OOU merit cut-off mark
• Narrowly omitted during the first batch of admission
• Have been offered admission through VC list

3. OOU VC admission list

During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that OOU VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.
