UNIZIK admission list 2026/2027 PDF is officially out – Nnamdi Azikiwe University has released the full list of admitted UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates, along with guidelines on how to check first, second, and third batch admission list using UNIZIK Admission checker portal.

To check if UNIZIK has offered you admission in 2026, you must verify your admission status using JAMB e-Facility portal (CAPS) and UNIZIK admission checker portal.

1. UNIZIK has started uploading names of qualified candidates to the 2026/2027 Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
2. The uploading of UNIZIK admission list is done in batches. So far, admission list for Law, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Accounting have been uploaded, and the process is still ongoing.
3. Please note that JAMB will only offer you admission after UNIZIK has recommended your name on JAMB CAPS Portal.
4. Any UNIZIK admission offered or accepted outside JAMB CAPS portal is illegal.

1. Go to UNIZIK admission checker portal at www.portal.jamb.gov.ng or unizik.edu.ng.

UNIZIK usually release five (5) admission lists, namely:

1. Merit Admission List
2. Second batch admission list
3. Third batch admission list
4. Supplementary Admission List and

1. UNIZIK First Batch Admission List

UNIZIK Merit admission list, also known as UNIZIK First Batch Admission list contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.

2. UNIZIK Second Batch Admission List

UNIZIK second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:

• Did not upload their O’Level results early
• Did not meet UNIZIK merit cut-off mark
• Narrowly omitted during the first batch of admission
• Have been offered admission through VC list

3. UNIZIK VC admission list

During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that UNIZIK VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.
