UNN admission list 2026/2027 PDF is officially out – University of Nigeria has released the full list of admitted UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates, along with guidelines on how to check first, second, and third batch admission list using UNN Admission checker portal.

1. Go to UNN admission checker portal at www.portal.jamb.gov.ng or unn.edu.ng.
2. Enter your 2026 JAMB email and Password

Types of University of Nigeria Admission List

UNN usually release five (5) admission lists, namely:

1. UNN First Batch Admission List

UNN Merit admission list, also known as UNN First Batch Admission list contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.

2. UNN Second Batch Admission List

UNN second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:

• Did not upload their O’Level results early
• Did not meet UNN merit cut-off mark
• Narrowly omitted during the first batch of admission
• Have been offered admission through VC list

3. UNN VC admission list

During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that UNN VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.

If you’re expecting your name to appear on the 2026 UNN VC admission list, you must wait until the university has completed admitting candidates who merited admission based on JAMB and Post-UTME performance.

After accepting UNN admission on JAMB CAPS portal and confirming your name on UNN undergraduate admission portal, here are the next important steps to take:

1. First, confirm your name on UNN 2026 JAMB Matriculation list
2. Proceed to pay UNN 2026 admission acceptance fee online or at designated banks.
3. Print and download your 2026 UNN and JAMB admission letter online
4. Secure an accommodation (Either pay for a bed space in the school hostel (if available) or get an off-campus accommodation early enough)
5. Get all UNN physical screening documents ready. These include: Original JAMB result slip, UNN Post UTME registration slip, Birth certificate or age declaration, Certificate of origin, Attestation or reference letters, JAMB/UNN admission letter.
